1. If you only want to hit the bestseller lists, then I’m not interested.
I know what it takes to hit the bestseller lists, because I’ve helped clients do it multiple times. But, I have no interest in helping an author become a bestseller just to satisfy his or her ego. I only accept authors who want to build a successful long-term campaign. If you hit a bestseller list, that’s the icing on the cake – not the primary goal. No exceptions. I’m dead serious about this issue.
2. You must already have a growing author platform.
You must already have a growing your audience. For example, if you write nonfiction, you should have at least 25,000 email subscribers, access to regular media appearances, a frequent speaking schedule, connections with well-known influencers, etc.
If you write fiction, you must have at least three novels completed, an active email list of over 10,000 subscribers, and the availability to quickly write new short stories or novellas as I instruct.
3. You must be able and willing to implement my techniques.
I will provide expert book marketing tactics, guidance, and accountability. I can also build a new author website or a book landing page if needed. However, you must be willing to follow my advice and execute your own social media, email marketing, and publicity functions. I do the teaching. You and your team must do the actual work.
4. You must contact me at least 6 months before your book launch.
Building a successful book launch doesn’t happen overnight. Many marketing tactics, such as public speaking, publicity, and connecting with online influencers requires a long lead-time. If you contact me less than 6 months before your release date, there isn’t enough time to build a complete campaign. 5. You must have an adequate budget in place.
The Concierge Book Launch Service is designed to save you time, provide peace of mind, and achieve bigger results than you could on your own. Therefore, you must have the budget in place to handle the marketing expenses involved and afford my expertise. I don’t work on commission, and payment for my service is due up-front.
